COME HOME TO YOURSELF!

Thanks for being here!

Who am I?
I'm Kelsey — a mom, author, mental health enthusiast, and self-proclaimed expert in NOT having it all figured out.

Who inspires me?
I'm drawn to spiritual teachers like Buddha, Jesus (though not the traditional Christian version), Eckhart Tolle, Ram Dass, and women like Brené Brown, Pema Chödrön and Tara Brach — those who embrace presence, inner peace, and the balance of both light and shadow. I connect deeply with mindfulness practices, nature-based spirituality, and the belief that true healing often comes from within. Lately, I've found satisfaction in learning about a wide variety of spiritual practices, exploring what resonates with me as I continue to grow.

What have I been through?
I've navigated a faith transition, postpartum depression, PMDD, parenting a child with special needs, unexpected pregnancy, financial hardship, body image issues, managing multiple businesses, and working through marital challenges.

What have I tried?
Therapy, mindset work, women's groups, plant medicine, mindfulness, and somatic therapies — you name it, I've probably explored it. I've read countless books on mental health, self-help, and spirituality.

What should you know about me?

I’m still very much on my own journey and learning as I go. I never want to come across like I have it all figured out — because I don’t. What I do have are experiences, lessons, and tools that have helped me along the way.

What has helped the most?
Investing in myself — even when it felt hard or impossible. As well as learning to offer myself more grace.

What inspires my creative work?
My own healing. Writing and illustrating children's books has been a way for me to process my experiences while helping kids and adults learn about self-love, mental health, and processing emotions.

Why this blog?
Because I’ve felt alone in my journey before, and I don’t want anyone else to feel that way. The tools, insights, and strategies I share here aren’t expert advice — they’re simply the things that have helped me find my footing when life felt unsteady.

Who is this space for?
Anyone navigating a faith deconstruction, motherhood, mental health challenges, seeking spirituality, or simply trying to make sense of this wild human experience.

Trust what’s rising within you and keep unearthing your true self. 🌙
